Death takes the holidays

I heard on the news today that more people die of natural causes on Christmas day, the day after Christmas and New Years Day than at any other time of the year. What might be causing this?

1. The Grim Reaper hires unqualified temp workers to help with the holiday rush.
2. Jesus our Lord and Savior takes people at their word when they say, "I'd rather die than ______ with the inlaws."
3. Everyone puts off that bypass surgery until after the holidays.
4. Three little words, "Some Assembly Required!!!"
5. Three more little words, "Batteries Not Included!!!"
6. Blood pressure rises while you try to drive past the mall
7. Hearing 'Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg...' for the thousandth time causes that blood clot to finally lodge in your brain.

9. 100 degree internal temperature
